Modern Warfare 2 weapons revealed amid massive Call of Duty leak: Barrett .50cal, Vector and more

Activision is gearing up to release the fan-favorite game, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, on October 28, 2022. First released in 2009, the all-time classic Call of Duty game is being remade almost a decade later, following the all-new version of its predecessor, Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019).

Modern Warfare 2 looks like Activision's most ambitious project yet, and the entire player base is trying to get whatever information they can get. While Activision tries to explain as little as possible to keep fans wondering what's going to happen, new leaks have already surfaced revealing maps and potential weapons players will want to acquire.

Leaked weapons expected with the launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

The latest report comes from @CODMW2Informer, who has compiled a list of weapon names that will return with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 this year on Twitter. This list ranges from Assault Rifles, LMGS, SMGS, Snipers and Launchers to melee weapons, and fans are wondering if any weapons have appeared yet.

Twitter user @MR_T_FINGERS has added the Barretta and UMP-45 to its katana and sniper rifles, compiling a list of all the weapons available with the launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
