Elden Ring offers a wealth of different dungeons and locations in the vast open world. One of those places is Murkwater Cave, where you can find patches. If you are a Souls player, you will want to meet the Patches NPC. Because it's a relatively smaller dungeon, it's easy to miss when traversing Lands Between. But you can get an armor set and unlock the Patches questline when you get to this location. However, some players cannot find the location of this dungeon. How to get to Elden Ring Murkwater Cave (Location Guide)

You can find Murkwater Cave by crossing the Murkwater River halfway in Elden Ring. You can find Murkwater Cave in the north-east of the Limgrave region. If you go there you will find a vast gorge leading from Lake Agheel. You have to keep traversing with your horse until you find a small cave on your left. Since it can be quite overlooked, look for a hanging flame basket. It is placed right in front of the dungeon.

When you first enter the cave or dungeon, you will be ambushed by the Bloody Fingers of Nerijus. We recommend being careful with this invading NPC Phantom as it can handle heavy bleed attacks. But if you defeat him, you can get 1294 runes and the Reduvia Dagger weapon. Once you defeat him you can go into the cave. And when you enter Murkwater Cave, you will immediately find a place of grace. You can rest over there as you will face several Highwayman enemies in this cave. Also, make sure to light a torch when exploring the cave.


You can defeat them to get the Foot Soldier's Highwayman Cloth Armor, Gauntlets, Hood, and Greaves.
