There are many ways in which Fortnite allows you to work together as a team, whether it's trading healing items, resurrecting a fallen teammate, or simply providing cover so your friends can reposition themselves for a sneaky kill. Perhaps one of the most useful features is the pinging system, which allows you to mark enemies, weapons and items for your squad so they can easily redirect their focus as needed. Here's how to tag enemies in Fortnite.

How to tag enemies in Fortnite

While a single click of the middle mouse button — or the left mouse button on the d-pad for console players — will allow you to ping items and locations, to mark the location of enemies, you need to double-tap the ping button. Double-tapping near your enemies will mark the location with a red marker to indicate that there is a problem there.

Of course, the game currently has an easier method of pinging your enemies with the Falcon Scout. If you manage to get your hands on this useful mechanical bird, you can fly it around and use its "claw" to mark the location of nearby enemies by clicking on a small area rather than marking a miniature grid point. This is a particularly useful option as it will show you and your teammates the exact location of your opponents, giving you an advantage if you decide to engage them in battle.
