Hogwarts Legacy features tons of gameplay mechanics with a dose of nostalgic spells and charms. As you complete different quests and side quests, you will come across various pieces of equipment and unidentified items. These teams would simply have a question mark over them. In order to use these items of equipment and resources, you will have to decipher their magic. And sadly, you can't use the Revelio charm to reveal these items. How to identify equipment in Hogwarts Legacy

You can identify equipment and items using the description desk at Hogwarts Legacy. You can find the description desk inside the Room of Requirement. But to use it, you need to complete the Room of Requirement quest. You can get this quest by completing the Flying Class quest and finding Professor Weasley's Owl Letter. You simply have to meet him to unlock the Room of Requirement.


Once you have unlocked the room, you can access the description desk within it. As soon as you get an unidentified piece of equipment or item, head to the Room of Requirement and head over to the Description Desk. You have to interact with the desktop to identify your computer.

This desk will reveal any unidentified pieces of gear, equipment, or items in your inventory. So you don't have to worry about identifying every single unidentified computer. Also, note that instead of selling unidentified equipment, we recommend using the description desk to reveal them. While these items may have a low rarity, they may have better stats. This can help you level up faster in Hogwarts Legacy.
