Arrest Momentum Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy is one of my best single player games, perhaps in the last two years. I have never been so excited about a game that I wasn't even a fan of before. The stories, game mechanics, wand movements all build up to make for a wonderful experience, and it's a must-try for non-potter fans like me! The game features great side quests that teach you new skills, and Arresto Momentum is one of them.


Momentum Arrest is a spell that will be taught to you, My Lady Kogwa, after she finishes her tasks. It slows down your enemies, but it has a trick. If the enemies are more prominent and powerful, then the slowdown effect might or might not work on them, so make sure to use it wisely once you get it.


But if you're not sure where to find one, this article will walk you through getting the Arrest Momentum spell in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to get Arrest Momentum in Hogwarts Legacy

To get the Arrest Momentum spell in Hogwarts Legacy, you will first need to complete Madam Kogwa's second flight assignment. In this Task, all you need to do is practice flying at two different locations, Spiers and Keenbridge Tower. You will have to pop five balloons at each location and then return to Madam Kogwa to learn the new ability. This task is very similar to Madam Kogwa's Task 1, and if you've cleared it, it'll be a piece of cake.


First, exit Hogwarts school and use your broom to reach the first location, Spiers. The location will be marked as a white marker on the minimap. When you reach your destination, you will find a purple circle and use the Revelio spell to track the balloons. The balloons will be blue with a gold star. All you need to do is go through it and blow up five of them to complete the first objective. Always remember to pop the yellow bubbles as they will help increase the speed of your broomstick for a short period of time.

When you are done with the first location, head over to the Keenbridge tower. Follow the white marker on the minimap and you'll get there in no time. The tactics remain the same here as well. Use the Revelio spell to track the globe once you are near Keenbridget Tower. As soon as you see them, start blasting them one by one. This time too, don't forget to pop the yellow bubbles. Pop all five blue balloons and you will be asked to fly back and return to Madam Kogwa.

As soon as you arrive at Hogwarts, run to Madam Kogwa's office on the Hogwards grounds. Once you reach her office, interact with her and after a short moment, she will teach you the new Arrest Momentum spell. Learn the spell by playing the fast action sequence and pressing the correct keys at the correct time. Once this is done, you can use the new Momentum Arrest spell on enemies.

The quest ends after learning the spell. However, you can practice the spell on the two flying books, and once you're done, you can leave Madam Kogwa's office.
