Warner Bros has announced that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be released on May 25th. In addition, the publisher released a brand new gameplay trailer, which you can find below.


Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League promises to combine Rocksteady's signature character-driven story gameplay with third-person shooter action. The game will feature an original narrative and take place in a richly detailed open-world metropolis.


The story follows Suicide Squad members who must take on an impossible mission; Save the earth and slay the world's greatest DC superheroes, The Justice League. Implanted with deadly explosives in their heads, all four DC Supervillains have no choice but to band together and carry out this untenable assignment as part of Amanda Waller's infamous Task Force X.


According to reports, this will be more of a GaaS (Game As A Service). And this gameplay trailer can give you an idea of how the game will play. The game will rely heavily on weapons and will not focus on melee combat like the Batman: Arkham games. To be honest, this feels like a new Marvel's Avengers game.
